Ernestina Village

We stayed four nights and our rooms were never cleaned. There is a reception desk, but nobody is there, so you have to contact them on WhatsApp for anything you need. Parking was also a problem: each space is very small, and the cars are parked on the sidewalk in front of the complex. There’s room for four vehicles inside, but since it’s a dead-end street, the only way in involves going down and then back up a very steep slope. The scenery is beautiful and the facilities are adequate for the price, but our experience wasn’t the best.

We had a fantastic time here, and loved the place. The apartment was comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows, and the chairs, sofas, and closets were comfortable and good too. The kitchen was spacious, though some things were missing; we asked and they brought them right away. Cooking was tricky with an electric cooktop, but there was a microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, and fridge, all in perfect condition. We don’t know why the tap water came out brown. There’s a beautiful paddle court, a quincho with a grill, a small gym that was all in good condition, a games room, TV with Playstation, terrace, and more. The pool was lovely, with inflatables and games for kids, plus loungers. The views and peaceful setting are gorgeous. Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s very affordable and worth recommending. There was no fan, so we used the air conditioning, which worked really well.

The reception staff were attentive and friendly, and we had a great time using the pool, paddle tennis court, and ping pong. The view is beautiful and the place is lovely, but it’s a bit far from the center. There are a few things that could be better: the gym has few machines and is mostly for aerobics, and the shower in the room, kitchen, and pool table could all use improvement.

The mountain setting gives you incredible views, and the apartments are comfortable, with lovely outlooks and easy access around the complex. They could use more kitchen equipment and some general maintenance. It’s highly recommended for families, and we’ll definitely be back.
