Rainerhof

The room was spotless and well kept, with a living area and pull-out bed, separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. We chose a room with a kitchen for a bit of independence. It had an oven, a good induction stove, dishwasher, and large fridge, and everything we needed except spices and oil. We even made steaks one night, and they came out great. We came for five nights in October 2025, a young couple with our 8-month-old baby. A cot was ready when we arrived after we'd mentioned the baby at booking. Families are very welcome here, and baby seats and helmets are available for bike rides. There’s a playroom on the 3rd floor that was perfect for letting our little one burn off energy, plus a sauna area downstairs with two kinds of saunas and a self-serve hot drink station. The hotel also has bikes with helmets and other gear in a dedicated room. Outside, kids can use the playground, ping-pong table, slide, and lawn. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff, especially at breakfast, were attentive and professional. The facilities were excellent, and breakfast was delicious. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. If we return to Flachau, we'll stay here again without hesitation.

The hosts were warm and always ready to help, which made us feel at home. Our spacious apartment was beautifully maintained and had stunning views to wake up to. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and there's a supermarket just a short walk away. We were a family of two adults and two children, and the location was ideal for day trips in every direction around the Salzburg region. We had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the spa was a lovely way to unwind, with a finish and infra sauna. I also liked the self-serve tea bar. Our room was comfortable and had a kitchen, plus a stunning Alpine view from the balcony. The hotel has a luxurious feel, and breakfast was fresh and pleasant. The strudel didn't disappoint.

The playroom for small kids was well kept and high quality, and outside there was a lovely yard with a huge trampoline and a really good ping-pong table. Guests with bikes have a room for them, with bikes in all sizes, helmets, and child safety seats. Rooms were spacious and clean, service welcoming, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Those thoughtful details made our time in Austria go from excellent to perfect. Warmly recommended, even in the cold season.
