The rooms were clean, the owner was lovely, and the bus stop is nearby. We also enjoyed the sauna and the good service. A few things could be better: the beds are quite hard, there was no room cleaning during our stay, including towel changes or restocking toilet paper and dishwasher tablets, and breakfast was quite expensive.

The residence is in a quiet spot within walking distance of the Flachau ski lifts. It had what we needed and a little more, and I’d happily recommend it.

We decided on a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the last minute, and it was beautifully organized from beginning to end. We learned a lot about Flachau and the people who live there. Thanks so much to Alois and Sonja Goldner. We’d love to return, maybe for a longer stay.

Sonia was so kind and helpful. The apartment is spacious and works great for XL families, and the croissants in the morning were delicious. There’s plenty to do in Flachau and the surrounding area. Approved!

The breakfast was delicious, homemade-tasting, and more than generous. We also had a wonderful carriage ride. The room was lovely and cozy, the location fantastic, and the host family very friendly. We’d be glad to come back.
