The staff and the views are what keep bringing me back to the Rupertihof. I’ve been staying there on nearly every trip to Austria since I was a child, and I have really fond memories of the place. I’ve tried both the regular rooms and the apartments upstairs. The apartments are spacious, clean, and lovely for families. If you choose a room, you get the delicious breakfast.

The owners are older, very kind, and attentive to guests. The house has an old guesthouse feel, like something from the 1950s. It sits back from Lake Fuschl, so the lake view is quite limited, and there’s no pool or fitness room. The rooms have been renovated, and the apartment had two balconies, two flat-screen TVs, plus a small older TV. The kitchen was fully equipped, even with a dishwasher. Wi-Fi is free, though the signal is weak.
