We could leave the car parked for the whole week thanks to the central location, and the hosts were friendly. The holiday apartment had two bedrooms and bathrooms, with everything provided. The only issue was the thin, frayed towels, which should be replaced.

The house isn't locked, as is common in many ski resorts. That makes the slips of paper with card details accessible to almost anyone able to get past the roughly 2 mm sliding glass pane and its very simple lock. At check-in, they require a credit card for the deposit and write down the name, number, and expiration date, which seemed reasonable at first. But they also insist on recording the three-digit CVC from the back on the same paper. I explained that the code is mainly for online payments and that anyone with the paper could make online purchases with my card. The employee referred me to her supervisor, and apparently Kopfüber Sportreisen knows about these security concerns because other guests have raised them too. Still, they demand all the card details and won't hand over the keys without them.
