When my son had a concussion and was admitted to hospital, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, empathetic and sweet. They were also very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is older, but atmospheric and cozy, with a lovely sauna and steam room in the basement. Many rooms have a view, and the double doors to the rooms mean total quiet at night. The ski bus leaves right outside, though getting to the slopes can be a bit of a hassle outside the busy bus hours. Apart from that, it's a beautiful hotel in a good location, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Good value for money, with tasty food and a nice atmosphere. The hotel is close to the ski bus, and the staff are great. One of the owners is a Taunus Car fan.

The area is lovely, with enough variety and not too many crowds. Our room was large, with windows on two sides looking out at snow-covered mountains. The ski bus stops outside the hotel and reaches the lift in under five minutes. Breakfast was good, with tasty freshly baked bread. Dinner was tasty too, with three main course options, and the service was friendly and good.

The prices are unbeatable for this location, and it's pet-friendly too. The place is clean, the people are friendly, the water is good, and the food is solid, even if it isn't gourmet. The elegant building looks like a setting for a historical film. Its age shows in places, giving it a melancholy atmosphere that suits the whole town. Inside, some rooms match the beautiful old exterior, while the modern ones are hard on the eyes.
