Hotel Mitterhof

The Egger family have made Hotel Mitterhof a place full of good memories for us over the years, and we plan to keep coming back. Breakfast is good each day, with plenty for everyone, and dinner has lots of choice, is high quality, and, as they say themselves, very tasty. The staff are welcoming and speak several languages. Rooms are kept clean and tidy, and they're regularly improved. A good stay for the price and quality. Best wishes from the Van Dongen family.

We came to Gerlos for the cattle drive from the mountain pastures, and staying here turned out to be a lucky choice. The hotel is right in the town center, and our parking spot was set aside for us just outside, so we could leave the car and head straight to the festivities. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a bright bathroom and a mirror with its own light. The bed was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. Breakfast is in a charming wooden cabin-style room decorated with mementos. The balcony isn't right on the main road, but still has a lovely view. We had an unforgettable time.

The staff were attentive, the room was clean, and breakfast was excellent. The location is handy too: it's easy to walk to other restaurants or take the cable car up to the alpine pasture, and the reservoir and waterfalls are a quick drive away.

The restaurant service is hard to describe, so watch the waiters while you eat and you'll see what I mean. The rooms are tidy and clean. The hotel sits between two bus stops, just 5 and 10 meters away, with buses going in both directions to the ski slopes every 15 minutes.
