Really great!

We had a big group and that was absolutely fine. The staff were friendly, and there was no problem getting extra towels. Parking was great, and we could keep our ski gear in a locked, heated room.

I’ve spent my last few vacations at this lovely holiday home, and I’d highly recommend it. Gerlos is surrounded by beautiful mountain and valley views, and the location is hard to beat. The house feels cozy and thoughtfully furnished, with the comforts you’d want. The bright, spacious rooms have large windows and lots of daylight. I especially liked the big garden, which was perfect for relaxing outside. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, too. There’s plenty to do close by, whether you want to hike, cycle, or just enjoy nature. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even nicer. It was unforgettable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Best, Lea ❤️

This morning I went for a walk and thought there was a path behind the house, but it wasn’t marked clearly. I carried on along what looked like a path in front of the house, until the owner yelled at me to get off his property. I apologized several times, but he showed no understanding at all 🤷🏼‍♀️. Then he followed me in his taxi to make sure I left. I don’t know what his problem was. If he doesn’t want people on his property or on the road to his house, he should put up signs. The path from the house is the shortest way for his guests to get to the village train. A sign saying the road is private from the bridge onwards would prevent misunderstandings. I wouldn’t want this person as a host.
