That breakfast is hard to beat. I travel for work and haven't come across one this good elsewhere, with such a great spread. The Schmid family made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the whole place has thoughtful little details to notice each day, from the rooms to the terrace and big garden. There's also Adi's shop with wood carvings in the building. The guesthouse is right in the village center but still quiet, with a café, Lake Haldensee, and an alpine pasture all easy to reach on foot. We felt at home, so we've already booked for next year. We had a lovely time there, with a beautiful view all around us. The accommodation was clean and well looked after, and the hosts were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast tasted great and had everything we needed. The sauna area was nice too. Definitely recommend it 😊👍

The mountain view from the balcony was magnificent, and the mattresses were excellent. The rooms did feel a little dark and could do with some renovation. We were very comfortable otherwise, everything was absolutely clean, and the hosts were friendly. Breakfast was excellent, whether we ate in the breakfast room or out on the terrace. Three mountain lifts were included, and the free bus stop was just a three-minute walk away. A great base for hiking.

A clean, lovely guesthouse with a really good breakfast buffet :) Lake Halden is close, and you can set off on hikes to different peaks right from here. Great location.
