Klaus was a wonderful host, always ready with help or information. The half-board meals were delicious, and there was a nice choice of wines. I also want to mention Mirjana and the outstanding work of the cleaning staff. The rooms were lovely, and the location was beautiful. Everything felt right for a perfect holiday.

Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, vegetables and cheese, plus enough vegetarian choices. The dinner buffet and menu meal were only average, though. There weren’t many vegetarian options, and for the quality and selection, the meals felt expensive. The waiters struggled when there was a large group. The hotel has an authentic Austrian style, and check-in was smooth. Staff were friendly, there was lots of nearby parking, and the place was very clean and nicely decorated. Some parts may have been renovated recently. The sauna was great and looked completely new. There’s a children’s playroom and a hobby room. Nearby, the neighbors’ hotel has a great playground with a small petting area with pigs, rabbits, chickens and goats. Internet was slow for video calls, but fine for email, basic browsing and audio calls.

This family-run hotel is cozy, clean and nicely decorated, with a small wellness area. The food was great, and everyone on staff was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

On our summer drive up to Salzburg, my family and I stayed here, and it turned out to be one of the most amazing hotels we’ve visited. We arrived late, after the kitchen had closed, but Klaus and his staff still made us food. They were welcoming, humble and kind. The rooms had been newly remodeled, the hotel was clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Bike rental is right next door, too. I highly recommend it!
