The bus to the lifts was a huge help. Pension seighof sits between saalbach and hinterglemm, and they drove us to the lifts and picked us up. After skiing, we loved unwinding in the snug, which has a self-service bar. The whole place was very clean, and the staff were so welcoming and ready to help with anything. There were three of us, two adults and our 17-year-old, in a newly refurbished family room. It had two double beds, a shower and sink, plus a separate toilet. Plenty of room for us, with lots of wardrobe and hanging space. We were on half board. Breakfast was very good, with cereal, continental options, waffles, and a pan where you could cook your own eggs and bacon. We had a couple of small niggles. Both routes for skiing back to the hotel were closed because of unusually warm weather, which wasn't the hotel's fault. The sauna and steam room were great, but they're meant to be used naked. We wore swimsuits and got a few funny looks and comments. It might help if the hotel had set times when swimsuits were allowed. We had a great stay at pension seighof and would stay again and recommend it to others.

New Year's was especially cosy, with a special dinner, sledging, and a toast at midnight. Hannes also drove us to the skilift in the morning, and helped us on our first day when a broken snow chain meant we couldn't get up to the pension. We came with our three kids, and even they liked almost everything at dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious. Our room was nice, the view was excellent, and housekeeping did a good job. The owners are fantastic, always cheerful, kind, and helpful. It's our last night here, and I'm already wanting to come back!

The view feels like heaven, and the place was cleaner than I could believe. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. There are two types of rooms, and we got the designed room. It was incredible, beyond what we expected, with the feeling of living in the 13th century in a modern way. It was worth every euro. The Wi-Fi is excellent too. Loved it, highly recommend.

I've stayed here more than 10 times, and it's the best place to stay in Saalbach. Hannes is the best. The view is amazing, and you feel amazing here, whether it's summer or winter. Great food and sauna too.
