Getting to two of Ischgl's main lifts only takes a short 200m walk, and Hotel Garni Vogt has everything we needed for a great ski holiday. The service requests we made were handled right away. Our apartment, Top 103, had a great layout and terrace, a big kitchen with everything we needed, and very neatly refurbished bathrooms. There was also a cozy breakfast area, excellent ski storage and nice sauna sessions in the evening. Marlene and her husband, who own the family hotel, were really nice. We had a fantastic stay, thanks, and we'll come back!

After a long day skiing, I could get from the end of the track to my room in just 5 minutes. As a solo snowboarder, this is the best place I've stayed in Ischgl so far: a few steps from the main lift and supermarket, but on a very quiet street. Breakfast suits me perfectly, with warm omelettes, delicious local cheeses and jams. The sauna and ski room are always clean, there's enough room, and the boot dryer works perfectly. Marlene and her husband are super friendly hosts. I'll definitely return!

I've stayed in B&B hotels all over Austria, including Ischgl, for the last 25 years, and they've all been to a very high standard. This is the best one I've stayed in. The beautiful hotel is in the best possible location, just a 2-minute walk from the gondola. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, breakfast was excellent, and I couldn't fault anything about it. There was one awkward moment after our first night. At breakfast, the landlady politely scolded us about noise that had apparently disturbed other guests. We said it hadn't been us, but I don't think we were believed. She particularly asked us to avoid our balcony on future nights, since that was supposedly where the noise came from. The funny thing is, we hadn't been out on the balcony that night. It was clearly mistaken identity, but it left some tension between us for the rest of the stay. Even with that little incident, I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone considering Ischgl.

We tried both a hotel room and one of the larger apartments. They were clean, and the service was good. The apartment kitchen had enough space to cook for nine, and the coffee machine was a great bonus. Bring whole beans for it.

I wouldn’t recommend this pension. The apartment we got didn’t match what was described in the “book room” section of the Ischgl website. They even charged us to change after skiing on departure day in the sauna. The owners seem focused on money. The sauna was just okay and, like the ski room and breakfast area, too small for the number of guests. It felt like a tourist trap.
