Gasthof Alpenfrieden

I spent two weeks in the Wasserfal apartment. It was very nice, and the staff were great. They helped with everything I asked, always with a smile. I'll definitely come back to this hotel!

Alpenfrieden is now my favorite ski hotel. You can ski in and out, and the hotel sits right on the valley piste. The owners are very friendly, and the food really is amazing, as people have said. Kappl was a great surprise: it has good terrain without the crowds I don't enjoy in Ischgl, even though I've skied there many times. I'll be back!

We come back regularly because we love this family-run place. The Family Siegele and staff take good care of guests, and they're very welcoming to children. The food is freshly made in the hotel's own kitchen, and we usually choose the breakfast and dinner option. The accommodation is great too, with its own parking and a spot right by the valley run. For Ischgl, the bus stop is a couple of steps from the hotel; for Kappl, just put on your skis outside the door and set off. Summer is lovely here as well. The Silvretta card gives access to free cable cars around Paznau, including Ischgl, Kappl, See, and Galtuer, plus other attractions. I'd recommend a day trip to Sammaun in Switzerland.

The staff couldn't be friendlier, and the food is superb. It's unbelievable value, too. The rooms have a great view. Just to clarify, the picture shows that view, not the hotel itself.
