The meals were first class throughout our half-board stay, clearly thanks to a talented chef and team. Afternoon tea with strudel was another highlight, and the location was great. I couldn’t have asked for more, and hope I can come back. Many thanks again. After four amazing nights, I’ve just returned from this excellent hotel. My superior room was beautiful, with a lovely view over Lech. The welcome chocolates and treats, the decor and colors, the fabrics, and even the table settings all showed wonderful attention to detail. Every staff member was lovely, and the place has a real family feel. Hotels with five stars, whatever the price, often don’t manage to offer what this one does.

For a ski holiday in Lech, I’d recommend the madlochBlick as a perfect base. The hotel gives coeliac guests a good deal of confidence too, as they really met my gluten-free food needs. The wellness area was spotless and roomy enough even when the hotel was busy. Access to the lifts is ideal, and there’s a direct route home from the piste. The Schuler family and their team put service first and make guests feel thoroughly spoiled. Rooms are quietly chic, with understated neutral tones, quality furnishings, and good linen.

The rooms are quiet and have a nice, homelike feel, and the ski-in, ski-out location is perfect. The fit-out is all new while keeping the genuine local traditional details. Dining and the other key services are high quality, and the approach is very personal. A great experience.

The food is up to a very high standard, and the luxury here is high quality for a very reasonable price. The spa, pool, and children’s playroom are great additions when skiing all day isn’t an option. An excellent hotel.
