The owner was friendly, the location was okay, and the building seemed well looked after. Still, for the price, our stay wasn’t as pleasant as I’d hoped. The apartments were generally smaller than I expected for this price range. We booked three and specifically asked to have them near each other, but they put us on two different floors, even though those apartment types seemed to be available on the same floor. There was only one set of tableware per person, so we had to run the dishwasher or wash things by hand several times a day. At least they provided plenty of dishwasher tabs, which was a nice surprise. The heating was uncomfortably hot, especially in the bedrooms, and we couldn’t control it. Opening the windows was the only way to cool things down. That meant dry air, and some bedrooms only had skylights that couldn’t be opened when it rained. We had several sleepless nights, drenched in sweat. The low-quality synthetic duvets made the problem worse. Some bedrooms had only a skylight and no regular windows, which was unpleasant in itself and made me doubt whether they legally qualify as bedrooms. The listing said reception was staffed from 7:30 to 18:00, but we almost never found anyone there, so it was difficult to talk about the heating. They also required us to come to reception before 18:00 on our last night to discuss checkout, which meant cancelling our après-ski plans that day. The wellness area was listed as a facility without mentioning an extra charge, but using it cost 13 euros per person per session. The building seemed reasonably soundproof in general, but on several nights we woke around 4-5AM to what sounded like a large group making noise inside. There’s a lobby that could be a nice place to spend the evening when a group is split across apartments, but the lights are off in the evenings.
