The bus is free and stops right by the hotel, so I could get around everywhere without using my car. There are plenty of opportunities nearby for walking and hiking, and probably skiing too, though I visited in summer. From arrival right through checkout, I had an amazing stay. Not every hotel is so open and friendly toward solo travelers. My room was spacious and had all the amenities you'd expect. Breakfast, the afternoon snack, and dinner were consistently good and freshly prepared, with helpful wine advice. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast and tea time, along with dinner, were the best parts of our stay. The morning buffet had everything you'd expect, and there was a nice vegan selection at every time of day. Dinner offered a variety of dishes with and without meat, with two dinner plans to choose from. Our five day family hiking and wellness weekend felt like a break for the mind and soul from the moment we arrived. Check-in started with prosecco, and the service was excellent and comfortable. The employees were kind and friendly, and tried to make everything possible for families with young kids and a dog. The suite/room was great, the bed felt like heaven at night, and room service kept it looking good every day. Everything was perfect. If we come to kleinwalsertal again, we'll stay at walserhof. Thank you all for the wonderful and generous time at your hotel!
