The only small drawback in my room was the sloped bathroom ceiling under the roof, which sometimes made standing in the shower a bit awkward. Otherwise, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, cosy, authentic, and well equipped. The setting in a quiet, picturesque village was just the peaceful escape I wanted, with beautiful views, especially from the tram ride. It’s a little outside the city centre, so you rely on public transport, but I found it convenient and easy to use. Katharina was extremely friendly and accommodating, including with my late check-in. I also appreciated the thoughtful little gift when I left. A nearby hotel and restaurant staying open until 10pm made it easy to find dinner. I had a lovely, relaxing stay and would definitely recommend it.

Schusterhof was even better than I expected. Its backyard has a full panoramic view of the Alps, such a scenic spot. The apartment felt like home: cosy, very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Catherine was warm and sweet, and had a bottle of Chardonnay ready as a welcome drink, along with tram passes. She was also helpful and informative about what tourists need to know. What a thoughtful host, and an impressive hidden gem!

We loved seeing the barnyard animals, and the family who looked after us were so lovely, welcoming, and special. The family room at Schusterhof in Mutters made our family holiday memorable, with comfortable surroundings, beautiful scenery, and thoughtful little details that made us feel cared for. It’s a great spot for families, within walking distance of the train into Innsbruck. I’d definitely recommend it for a magical summer or winter holiday.
