We came across this place after a long hike that started at the Hildesheimer Hut, and what a surprise. The food was great, and I thought the room, or apartment, was great too. I didn’t see the bathroom as a problem, despite what some people have mentioned. The host made us feel so welcome. We thought we might be short on Euros, and he offered to take dollars. We spent a really relaxing evening chatting, joking, and enjoying the surroundings. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who isn’t set on a Hilton-style hotel with room service and valet parking, and would rather have sincere hospitality.

The rooms are cosy and spacious, tucked away from roads and much else, so it’s a really peaceful escape. Falbesoner is in an idyllic spot, and the charming owners genuinely look after their guests. My wife and I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A cosy, really nice guesthouse with the friendliest service in the valley. The kaiserschmarren and schnapps are amazing, and there’s a cute dog wandering around the restaurant.

Everything was technically fine and the place was clean, but the owners seemed like they weren’t enjoying running it anymore. They were still nice, though we didn’t feel welcome. It’s cash only.

The rooms are well kept and have amazing views, and the food is excellent. Best of all, the DJ plays a great mix of ABBA and Johnny Cash!
