I’ve stayed at Clemonte Hotel a few times, and it remains one of my favourite places. It has a private, calm feel since there’s no reception. When I've run into the owner, she’s been warm and attentive. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the coffee, sourced for the hotel from Cameroon, is some of the best I've had. The design has lovely details throughout: warm earthy colours, clean modern lines, references and materials from Cameroon, ceramic coffee mugs, elegant water carafes, carefully chosen bathroom tiles, fragrant soaps, and even the laundry detergent. Everything feels considered and makes the stay feel indulgent. It’s also right beside Salzburg’s stunning cliffs. A beautifully curated hideaway, and I’m already looking forward to going back :)

Everything is an easy walk from here, whether you're heading to the old town, restaurants, or shops. Check-in was smooth and simple, which made the stay feel relaxed right from the start. Highly recommend it for a Salzburg city break.

We loved how clean and well kept everything felt, with a design that was both stylish and cozy. Clemonte Hotel is central but peaceful, and everything seemed new. A great fit for travelers who care about comfort and aesthetics.

Update: A new key was brought over two hours after we arrived. The room itself was nice. I'd suggest having a management company with spare keys for all the rooms and a direct way to contact the owners. We were left outside in the cold with two children under 5 because the lock box was empty, and we couldn't get into the hotel. The service manager who answered the phone had no spare keys and didn't know what to do. They said they'd call the owner, but couldn't tell us if or when we'd be able to get in. Completely unacceptable.

Every detail felt carefully done, from the lovely interiors to the easy self check-in. Clemonte Hotel had a magical feel, elegant but still cozy, and made a perfect escape in Salzburg. I really appreciated the comfort and style. It’s a stay I’ll remember.
