The main problem was that the room wasn’t cleaned every day and nobody took away the garbage. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the bathroom was very good, and breakfast was superb, with lots of nicely arranged food to choose from. There was a lovely kettle too. The location is great, near the main railway station, with three bus stops nearby and the main tourist attractions very close.

Our first stay at a Numa hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed, good facilities, and tea and coffee making supplies. Everything was handled on a smartphone, from entrance codes to WhatsApp, and it worked well until the fire alarm went off. We weren’t sure if anyone was checking the building or calling the fire brigade. We all waited outside on the pavement and sent WhatsApps to the remote Numa support desk about what was happening. Someone eventually told us it was a false alarm, so we went back in. The WhatsApp reply arrived about 30 minutes later.

We stayed in the large room with a balcony, and it was beautiful, spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. We loved the location and found street parking easy. Parking was free from 9 pm to 9 am, so we spent just a few euros a day while travelling. We skipped breakfast and got food elsewhere, but on arrival we wanted something easy for dinner and a snack beforehand, so we went to Mr Wen around the corner twice. There’s no front desk, and it feels more like an Airbnb, but that worked well for us. We probably won’t return to the city, but we’d recommend staying here to anyone visiting.

The free beer, soft drinks, and water in our room were a nice surprise. We could also leave our bags in lobby lockers, which saved us from carrying everything around while we waited for the room. Numa messaged us on WhatsApp to say we could check in early, another nice touch. It’s an easy walk to the city centre, and the place was very clean and comfortable. There’s no in-person reception, but the Numa app clearly shows the room access code and the check-in and checkout times, along with the other information you need. I’d highly recommend staying here.
