Theater Hotel Salzburg

The place was very clean and breakfast was great. It’s easy to reach the sights while staying a little away from the tourist bustle. From the train station, leave via the south exit with the bicycle hub and it’s walkable. The front desk staff were a highlight, the most professional and kind person we’ve encountered in a long time. Nearby M Passione patisserie is a nice alternative to the usual fare.

We’ve stayed here a few times and enjoyed it each visit. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, with a 10 to 15 minute walk to the old city center. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with air conditioning. Breakfast is very nice, and there’s a parking garage nearby.

The staff were really helpful, and the location was good, just outside the center but walkable, with a bus a block away. I asked for a room off the main street, and they kindly arranged it. It stayed quiet and cool through some very hot weather. The room was a decent size, nothing special, and felt like good value. The mini fridge was nice to have but didn’t work very well. The shower was cramped and the drain needed attention, though the water pressure was good.

Friendly, helpful staff, and the hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and attractions. Street parking was free until 9 am; after that, we parked not far away. Ask at reception and they’ll guide you. The room was comfortable, with a nice bathroom, though hot water took a while to come through. One thing I didn’t like was finding a bunch of black hair on the floor towel. We didn’t report it because it was very late and we were tired.
