Pension Auszeit Velden

We had a good stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a little way from the centre, but the 15-minute walk through nature is really nice.

We stayed here with a very good friend over the third Advent weekend and would definitely return. The breakfast buffet was excellent, everyone was friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Our room was very clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by a lovely welcome gift. The lake is about a 15-minute walk away.

We spent four nights here with our Briard, Sofie, and found it to be a superbly run guesthouse. It's in a small, very quiet residential area, about 1 km walking distance from Lake Wörthersee. The young couple who run it renovated and furnished the modern, stylish rooms, and everything was perfect. We got such a warm welcome, and the hostess stayed in personal contact with us throughout. She always had time for us, and was so sweet and friendly. We’re also grateful to the lovely, hardworking woman at the breakfast buffet. She made everything fresh with care, including a delicious fruit salad, and prepared egg dishes quickly and just right when we asked. She was always happy to chat and listen. She even cooked an egg for Sofie, she really loves dogs. The name “Auszeit” (time out) fits: peace, friendliness, and time for guests. We were very satisfied and highly recommend this lovely little guesthouse, its owner, and her team. We'd love to return.

The hosts know how to make a holiday feel special, and we’ll gladly come back. They welcomed and treated us like old friends. Our room was inviting and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, a new bathroom with a large shower, and, especially nice for us, a big sunny balcony in room 1. There was great parking with charging for our e-bikes. We enjoyed breakfast in the welcoming breakfast room, then used the outdoor terrace in the evenings. It was peaceful there, and we could help ourselves to drinks from the self-service refrigerator. The location suits anyone looking for quiet while still being close to the action, with lovely cycling routes around all the nearby lakes.
