B&B Hotel Wien-Stadthalle

We were right across the street from the venue, which made the location very convenient. The rooms are plain but do what you need, and ours was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. We could have used more storage space for our things, including in the bathroom, where there are no towel rails. We had a nice stay.

The biggest issue was how the room code was handled. We were travelling as a group, and someone whose name wasn't on our list told reception he could stay in my room. They gave him my code without asking me or checking with the person who booked it. That was unacceptable, since he could have been a complete stranger. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and nicely placed near public transport, Stadthalle, and some lovely Vienna neighbourhoods within walking distance. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. The shower design makes water spill onto the bathroom floor, and the bed felt a little small. Check-in was also awkward when we arrived early: there was nobody at reception, and the entry tablets were out of order. The rooms were nice, but staff should be more careful.

I was in town for the Erste Bank Tennis tournament at the Wiener Stadthalle, and this hotel made getting there easy. It was just a two-minute walk, so I could pop back whenever I needed. The room was clean and well appointed, and the staff made me feel welcome. I'd stay here again.

The rooms were cosy and spotless, and the receptionists were really friendly. Self check-in is available too. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back. Best wishes from Montenegro 🇲🇪
