Christina and the rest of the team made this stay feel special. Christina was warm and quick to respond even before I arrived, then helped with anything I needed and shared useful advice. Everyone I met was friendly, and after a long day out it was nice to look forward to coming back. I got lucky and found the last room for five nights in December 2025. The double room was quiet, spotless, and comfortable, with plenty of space for two, a good bed, wardrobe, bathroom, and tea and coffee replenished daily. There were delicious homemade cookies waiting as a welcome gift. Getting around was easy: the tram is across the street and the bus stop even closer, while Mariahilferstrasse is about six minutes away on foot and Volkstheater about eight. Cafes, restaurants, bakeries, and shops are all nearby. Hotel Kugel is in a great spot for seeing Vienna. This was my fifth visit to Vienna, and a fantastic one. Next time I’ll check whether Hotel Kugel has a room for my dates.

A cozy little family-run hotel with a really friendly feel. The room was clean, elegant, and very comfortable, and it’s an easy walk into the center. A lovely choice if you want to stay close by.

The tram outside made me wonder if the room might be noisy, but it really wasn’t much of an issue. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful, including sharing restaurant tips we appreciated. It’s also very central, with plenty of public transport nearby. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

We found The Kugel cozy and welcoming, right in the heart of Vienna and handy for sightseeing and restaurants. The family running it were gracious and knew the area well. Our room was tidy and clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty to set us up for the morning.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and Hofburg is about a ten minute walk away. A great place to stay in Vienna. I’ll book it again on my next trip.
