The restaurant is fantastic, and the breakfast is the best. The rooms are fine, and I’m looking forward to seeing the new ones.

The breakfast was okay, but the rest was a letdown for a hotel advertised as four stars and priced among the most expensive in the area. Our room faced the street, where the traffic was so busy that sleeping with the window open was impossible. Rooms looking onto the courtyard should be quieter. The fitted sheet had a hole at the head of the bed. The hand towels, bath towels, and bath mat were all badly frayed and looked very worn. The bathroom hygiene was practically unacceptable. The shower’s sliding door was covered with black grime, dirt, and mold, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The floor, especially the corners, wasn’t much better, and the magnifying makeup mirror was worn. It was disgusting just to go into the bathroom. Hopefully the bacteria have died of old age by now. The owner should spend a night in his own hotel.

As good as ever. What a wonderful herring feast, and many thanks for it.

The staff are friendly and courteous, and the food is the best quality I’ve found within at least 10 kilometers. I’ve eaten here myself.
