The room was compact but practical, with enough amenities and a useful kitchenette for simple meals. I also liked that the free beers and sparkling water were replenished each day. Check-in was easy, the staff were welcoming, and the location is handy, under a five-minute walk from Oberdöbling train station and even closer to the tram. My one letdown was breakfast. It was included in my rate, and I asked in advance for a packed breakfast for my 6 am checkout. I confirmed with reception two days beforehand and again the night before, but nothing was ready when I checked out. The staff offered to check with the kitchen, but I couldn't wait. That was the only thing keeping this from a five-star stay. I'd still recommend it, especially if you want a quieter area and don't mind a short commute.

The only real downside was how thin the walls were. Noisy neighbors could keep you from sleeping, and I hope they improve that. Otherwise, this was the best hotel stay I've had in ages. My husband and I came with a couple of friends in the first week of January to visit Vienna. The mattresses were new and super comfortable, the room temperature was just right, and the bathroom was clean and lovely, with a huge shower. The staff were professional and nice, and the price was great. It's easy to get to the city center by public transport. Thanks again!

The hotel is outside the city center, but it's well connected, and having a supermarket and pharmacy right outside was handy. The staff were friendly and accommodating with everything we needed. The place could use some care and seems best for people who just need somewhere to sleep. We could hear people in the rooms above and beside us all night. There was no soap or dishcloth for washing dishes, and the staff didn't replace them with clean ones. That was disappointing. We were two people, but there was only one person's worth of plates and cutlery.

The kitchenette was the highlight for me. It had what I needed to cook a few meals and save some money, and the room had everything else I could want. The neighborhood was quiet, the employees were polite and helpful, and the price felt fair for the quality. I chose this hotel for a Vienna holiday and would recommend it.
