Getting into the city centre, Schonnbrunn Palace, and the airport was quick and easy by bus or metro, and the hotel was easy to find. We had a fabulous three-night stay. Our room was ready early, so we could check in ahead of time. The keyless entry to the hotel and room is a lovely idea, though it took a little getting used to, and it was nice having a lift to the upper floors. The room was large, spotless, and very comfortable, with a bathroom that went beyond what we expected. They changed the double bed to twin beds within minutes of our asking. Before we arrived, the hotel sent us lots of information. Reception were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about getting around the city and recommendations, in both German and English. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and in the evenings a pizzeria served delicious pizzas to eat in or take away. My granddaughter and I look forward to returning to Vienna, and The George will be our first choice. I can't recommend it enough.

The staff were helpful and very polite, and they did a lot to sort out a problem I had with booking.com. The hotel manager was especially helpful and postponed my stay dates. The location suited me well: about a five-minute walk to the U4 line, with another bus stop right under the hotel. A really good place to stay in Vienna, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

My girlfriend and I stayed one night on a business trip, and the hotel was perfectly fine for the price. The staff were very helpful. My only issue is the four-star branding. It really doesn't feel like a four-star hotel, which is why I gave it four stars. Calling it three-star would set more accurate expectations, and I'd have rated it five.

Stay away from this hotel. I arrived with my family on Friday evening, July 11th 2025, at 22:00, and there was nobody at the front desk. The only note told arrivals after 23:00 to contact someone through WhatsApp. I messaged them there, waited an hour, and they still wouldn't send the check-in information. They eventually sent it to the wrong phone number, and I never got my reservation money back. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Everything was amazing. The staff were really nice, and the place was quiet and clean. If you're arriving late, be sure to get the entrance and room codes, because reception closes at 10 pm. It'll definitely be a lovely place for me to stay whenever I come to Vienna.
