König von Ungarn

I stayed here in April 2025, and honestly, I don't have words for it. Impeccably clean, with delightful, professional staff and a very good breakfast. The place is full of character and history, with a charming bar and modern facilities. A complete 10 out of 10!

The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, professional, and exceptionally friendly. We felt looked after the whole time and were completely satisfied with our stay. The price was excellent for what we got, and we'd gladly return. It was easy to arrange the booking by email. We got a quick reply, and our individual questions were answered promptly and warmly. Breakfast was very good, with excellent service. We especially liked relaxing in the beautiful courtyard with piano music in the background, and the bar was run very professionally. Our room had a lovely, nostalgic feel and was beautifully furnished. The location is ideal, just steps from St. Stephen’s Cathedral and a perfect base for exploring Vienna's city center. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The location is excellent, and you can walk all around the inner city. Our third-floor room was roomy and cozy, with no outside noise. The shower and bathroom had been renovated, and the bed was large and clean. The sitting area and bar/caffe are beautiful, the staff friendly, and breakfast very generous. We'll be back.

The location is hard to beat: St Stephen’s Cathedral is right beside the hotel, and the subway is a five-minute walk away. My double room was spacious, with a great feel to the interior. It was next to the elevator, but nobody seemed to use it after 10 pm, so my sleep wasn't affected. I was pleasantly surprised that the TV had streaming services. The staff were lovely, and breakfast had a good range of egg dishes along with other good-quality food. I had a great time at Hotel König von Ungarn and would definitely recommend it to solo travelers.
