We felt right at home in this lovely furnished holiday apartment, with a breathtaking view of Lake Faak and the Mittagskogel mountain. Just a five-minute walk away is the private lake access for apartment guests, which is a real bonus. The Petschnig family's "Bienenhütte" is right next door, with delicious food.

The private beach by the lake is fantastic, and the apartment is very clean. The modern microwave and dishwasher were handy. Cutlery, dishes, pans, and the like are minimal but sufficient. The downside is that the Petschnig family only accepts cash, so you can’t pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

The view from the balcony over the lake and mountains was unbeatable. We also liked the lake access and being close to the Petschnig family's beer garden. The friendly owners are a very, very nice family, and the apartment was clean and well-equipped. We stayed three nights and would come back anytime.

This was our third time here. The family is great and incredibly hospitable, the holiday apartment is very clean and modern, and the bee house is a lovely spot to relax.
