The team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and the apartment was spotless. We were already talking about coming back before our week in 2BUG was over. There’s plenty to do around the lake and in the mountains, but staying in and enjoying the view is just as appealing. Our apartment had lovely places to relax, and the sauna looks out toward the mountains. The balcony catches the morning sun, and a nearby spring makes a soft, steady sound that adds to the calm. The building itself is striking, and the setting is hard to beat. Weissensee and the trails through the surrounding mountains are within walking distance. There’s also a bus stop right outside, with service to the next village and to the mountain base across the lake. We had a fantastic stay, and felt really well looked after.

We felt at ease as soon as we arrived, thanks in part to the warm welcome and thoughtful way guests are treated. The old sawmill has a lovely wood scent throughout, with cozy nooks, a crackling stove and the lake close by. Its sauna also has a view over the water. It’s an impressive piece of architecture that still feels warm and homey. We’d be glad to return, and it works well for families and people with dogs :)))

Alte Säge is a lovely place to unwind, with apartments that feel deeply relaxing and are equipped just right. The lake is close enough for a swim on hot summer days, and in cooler weather there are walks and hikes along the water. Thanks to the wonderful team for such a nice stay. I’d definitely recommend a visit.

Modern rooms right beside Weissensee, with Alpine charm throughout. The property is beautiful and well cared for, and the interior design is smart and thoughtful. It’s an architectural standout, and for relaxing and feeling happy, I don’t need anything else.
