It was our first time stopping in Austria. We stayed in a ground-floor apartment that was spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a beautiful area, and we spent the evenings sitting outside and admiring the views.

The breakfast was a real highlight. For just €7 per person, there was a table full of delicious food, including fried eggs, and you could have as much as you wanted without paying extra. The rooms are large, very good for the price, and have kitchens. I slept really well too. Five stars are more than deserved. Thanks so much to the owner, who runs everything himself!

The host was exceptionally attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was generous with plenty of variety. Everything was clean and tidy, though the interior is a little dated. The mountain setting is idyllic, and it’s excellent value for money. You can walk to Lake Zell in 30 minutes, and the train station and bus stop are five minutes away. Two good restaurants, Limberghof zum Saustall and Tauernstüberl, are a 10-15 minute walk away and serve delicious food. Smoking is allowed in the house, so there can be a smell, but we didn’t notice it in the rooms.
