The owners are responsive and genuinely care about making customers happy. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean, with up-to-date facilities and appliances. The location is prime, close to the city centre and shops, and the rates felt very reasonable for the festive Christmas season. I’ll keep coming back. This place deserves seven stars, highly recommended.

I rang around midnight after arriving in Ararat, and they answered pretty quickly with a lovely room available. It was very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, an electric blanket, a big shower and a spotless toilet. The microwave looked brand new and actually worked, unlike ones I’ve come across elsewhere. There’s a lovely garden right outside the door where you can sit with your morning coffee. The service was lovely and the location great. I’d stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Just right for a stopover, with a clean, comfortable room close to town and nice staff. What more do you need?

We stopped overnight and found the motel very clean and comfortable. The welcoming hosts were lovely, and it would suit a longer stay too. Highly recommend. The RSL in Ararat is a great place to eat.
