The owner and manager was welcoming and keen to meet everyone's needs. We spent 7 nights in a quiet, spacious, well-appointed room with lounge chairs, a coffee table, desk, large TV and fully equipped kitchenette. The king size bed had luxurious linen and was very comfortable. The generous bathroom had a large shower cubicle with great water pressure, and complimentary toiletries were provided. There were several lighting options, including a remote-controlled fan/light. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of beautiful parks, restaurants, fast food outlets, supermarkets and hotels. Off-street parking was easy and felt safe.

Pubs, clubs, a shopping centre and cafes are all a short stroll away, and the location is fantastic. We stayed over Christmas; the staff were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, and despite being on the main street, ours was very quiet. Highly recommend!

Best, brightest and biggest room. Proper reading lights over the bed, wine glasses, and everything you need. Very close to restaurants, with not much traffic noise.

Ron and Leanne made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help. My partner had popped a button on an outfit, and they lent us a sewing kit. They also had some of the things we'd forgotten at home in Newcastle. The motel itself was neat, clean and really comfortable. Thanks to you both for making the stay a 10/10.

The service was exceptional, and I really enjoyed having complimentary cookies with my cuppa. The room was quiet, warm and clean, and the location was great.
