We were in a tricky situation after making a booking mistake on my end, but the owner found us last-minute accommodation that day. They were quick to answer the phone and gave us amazing customer service and solutions. The colonial manor was beautiful inside and out, with a spacious, well-decorated room and a harbour view. It’s in a perfect spot in Battery Point, away from main roads but an easy walk into town, with quick access to shops and the notorious Salamanca market. A huge thanks to the owner. We’ll definitely be back.

Comfortable beds are a huge priority for me, and these were really good. I bought bath salts from SCOOP in Sandybay and had a lovely, relaxing bath. The place is super quiet and just a stone’s throw from restaurants and Salamanca. I’ll definitely stay again.

Room 8 was huge, with nice views and a lovely feel. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. It’s a beautiful place to stay, especially for a 192-year-old Colonial building full of history. Would stay again 😀

We had a good stay at Battery Point Manor for the price. Our family had plenty of room in Room 9 on Level 1, with enough space for the kids to move around. It was kid friendly, and we even had a partial harbor view. There’s parking, which is super handy, and the property sits on a quiet street close to coffee shops. This is an old building, so some muffled sounds carry from other rooms, but nothing too disturbing. We were mostly out during the day and just used the place to rest and sleep, so it worked really well for the cost and felt worth it.

Battery Point is my favourite area, so the location suits me perfectly. It’s a bit far for a leisurely stroll into the CBD, though fine if you have a car or don’t mind a longer walk. I’ve stayed in rooms 5 and 9, both full of character, very clean and comfortable. The bed linen is quality, which matters a lot to me, and the bathrooms are great and modern. There’s a good range of rooms for different budgets. Just lovely, my go-to in Hobart, and I’m looking forward to trying another room next time.
