Washerwoman's Beach is glorious for a swim with my gentle cocker spaniel, so thanks to Shoalhaven Council for making it an off-leash spot where dogs like her can explore and take a dip. Holiday Haven Bendalong rented us a spacious, comfortable bungalow that was immaculately clean. The wide gated deck had a bbq, which made eggs and bacon for breakfast easy, and a lovely ocean view through the trees. The whole Bendalong camping ground also looks very well maintained, and the new swimming pool is a lovely addition to the great facilities. We could only stay two nights, which was a shame.

The local beaches are beautiful, and the facilities are nice and well kept, with plenty of water access around the site. For unpowered camping with a big weekend group, get in early since sites aren’t allocated. There were still spots Friday afternoon for solo campers and small groups, but not many left for larger groups. The unpowered area felt less crowded. There are lots of on-site vans too, though they’re at the other end.

We loved having several beaches just a short walk away, and the park has a lovely community feel. Holiday Haven Bendalong has spotless amenities and great facilities, including a playground and pool. Such a good place for a relaxing, fun family camping trip, especially with kids.

The park doesn’t feel overcrowded, and there’s a great setup for kids to roam around. The beaches are awesome, the facilities are perfect, and we always seem to meet nice people there. The staff running the place know what they’re doing. Love this location.

We camped with an ensuite, but used the camp toilets and showers too and had no issues. The camp kitchens were really handy, and reception has a few useful things for sale. Great location, private, close to the ray beach, and there’s a seafood truck on Saturday arvo's. The amenities are terrific. Remembering your code can be a pain sometimes, but it’s good for keeping the kids out of the water park when needed, and that safety is great. Already booked for next year 🥂🍻😎👌👍
