The service at this motel was second to none. Daily service was impeccable whenever we wanted it, breakfast arrived promptly, dishes disappeared once left outside, check-in was quick and efficient, and everyone smiled. The laundry service was the bomb and much appreciated. There’s a nice pub right across the road for dinner, and this was one of the best motels of our journey. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size, with a table, 2 chairs and a sofa. The bed was a tad firm, but the pillows were good. The compact bathroom was okay, with hooks and a shower rail, though I think the shower head may have been partly blocked because the spray went everywhere. There was pump liquid soap, a tiny fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery, plates, jug, and tea, coffee and bikkies, a nice touch.

It’s quite basic, but has what you need for a pleasant stay. Clean and tidy, in a brilliant location, and very quiet at night. The staff are extremely helpful. I’d happily stay again.

They wouldn’t let me pay over the phone, then hung up on me. I’d have been happy to pay in person, but they didn’t give me that option. After driving 12 hours, I needed somewhere to stay and couldn’t find a place.

We booked through Booking.com, which was very easy, and had a good night here with my son. At reception we picked up our key and met the very friendly staff at this family-run business. The room was basic and could use a little updating, but it was clean and cosy. We parked right outside, and parking wasn’t a problem. It’s a good location, only a short 5 minute drive to the CBD. Breakfast there was reasonably priced and tasted good. Checkout was simple too, since there’s a key box for when reception is unattended or closed. It may cost a bit more than some other motels of the same standard, but it’s worth the price. Highly recommended.
