Tropical Beach Caravan Park

We only stopped for one night in a powered ensuite site while heading from Yeppoon back to Cairns, and even the kids wanted more time there. We’d have stayed longer, and should have stopped on the way down too, but were worried the roads back to cairns might flood. The park was immaculate, in a great location, and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across at a caravan park. Our site was a good size, and the other sites looked good too, with toilets close by even if you don’t have an ensuite. It’s dog friendly, and the kids were happy with the wifi haha. We’re already planning a proper return with family and friends, including a stay in the cabins. Highly recommend.

I was so glad to be back at this lovely park, and have already booked for next year. It’s a great place to relax with the sea breeze, and it’s dog friendly. The hosts are friendly, shops are nearby, and Woolies is just a little further down the road. There’s a golf course close by too. The beachfront sites sit just a metre or two from the ocean, with around 40 sites in all. There are cabins as well, most with water views. Tables and BBQs out front make it a lovely spot to socialise and enjoy the view. The amenities are clean and modern, and the showers have hand basins. Plenty of sites have ensuites, and there are lots of palm trees. Recommended.

The waterfront caravan sites are in a picturesque, peaceful setting, and the park and facilities are beautifully cared for. It has a quiet, laid-back holiday atmosphere that made it easy to switch off. We couldn’t fault our stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Rebecca, who took care of our booking, was particularly thoughtful and made us feel valued. Thank you to her and the whole team. We’re keen to return and would recommend the park to anyone after a relaxing break.

The views and location were fabulous, and the managers were really friendly. We booked two nights and ended up staying three. The park was very clean, including the BBQ area, which also has a lovely little herb garden. The pool was clean and cool, and some of the pubs offer courtesy buses with great meals. Highly recommend.
