This is only about the "Chef's Signature Pie with Chips" for $15. I wish I’d taken a photo. The pie was a good size and packed with tasty beef and gravy, with chips and gravy on the side. We added a little worcestershire sauce. It’s a highly recommended special, though it might only be available Monday through Friday. I’d check with staff, but unfortunately their service falls well short of a recommendation. The bar staff do their best, but home office has them hogtied when it comes to having enough staff for Cloncurry’s needs.

The team at the Leichhardt are incredible. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond show small community togetherness at its best. They don’t normally deliver, but I contacted Roy while he was on shift and he kindly arranged to take food to my mum. She lives alone and had recently fallen, fracturing two ribs and suffering a partial lung collapse. I’m her daughter and live kms away, and Roy was so accommodating, sweet and helpful. I’ve also visited the Leichhardt on trips to cloncurry, and it’s impeccable. They catered my late step dad’s wake too. They’re just amazing, and I’d highly recommend them.

After a long day, it’s a nice, relaxing place to unwind. Great pub vibes, friendly staff, and good times playing pool, listening to music and grabbing a bite to eat. Highly recommend 👌
