We had a connecting room for the family. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean.

I had a restful night in old motel room 8 at the rear, with plenty of hot water for a shower and only a little road noise from the location. The room was run-down and needed renovation and refurbishment, but seemed okay for $105. The newer motel was $145 per night for one person, and I’ve stayed in worse rooms elsewhere. Fair value for the night.

The room was great and the air-conditioning worked really well. Staff were friendly, offered us a drink while we checked in, and made the process easy, apart from having to go across the road.

The air-conditioning and shower worked well, but that was about it. The room and beds were basic, and the cleaning was pretty minimal. It’s the outback, I guess, but still.

The bed was good, but the shower didn’t work, and that was their fault. The TV was out too, probably not their fault, and I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. There wasn’t a direct phone to reception, which is at the other motel across the road.
