The grounds are well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless, including the shower, and the appliances, glasses, dishes and cutlery were all covered for hygiene. There was a microwave in the room, and the bed was comfortable. An unassuming little gem. I’d happily stay again.

We only needed a clean, quiet place, and this motel did the job. The staff were friendly, and it’s easy to walk into town, to the hotel or to restaurants. Happy with our stay.

A short walk gets you to the restaurants, and the run path starts about 200m away, leading to the parkrun course by the lake. The room was a good size, with a new bathroom and a hot shower. Tea, coffee and long-life milk were provided, and there’s a local IGA for more coffee or groceries. The front desk staff were friendly.

We picked this as a stop for the night on our way to the 12 Apostle from Eastern Melbourne, and it was a great value find. It’s close to Lorne, with a supermarket and servos nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the furnishings were about what you’d expect for the price. The AC fan was a bit noisy on its single high setting, which we used to warm the room. There’s a public BBQ and pool that would be good in warmer weather. Staff were super helpful, even arranging a couple of hours before check-in, and both check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Highly recommend.

The room was pleasant and had a decent amount of space. An electric cooking plate would make it better.
