Dean was great to deal with, and the beautiful house is off-grid. I managed to work on Zoom for two days without any problems. Cow Bay beach is quite pleasant, and the kids loved the swings. The driveway up is quite something for city slickers, you just have to keep your momentum going.

Yurara is a secluded eco house among the trees, with amazing views of the area. There’s loads of space, with two huge bedrooms, a massive bathroom, and a good-sized open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen. The multiple deck areas are a highlight, and most are covered so you can use them in any weather. Even though the house is off-grid, it still has internet and an on-demand Google TV. The facilities are great. 10/10, we’ll be back.

The house was clean and had relaxing features like a hammock, bubble bath spa, and rain shower. It’s close to beautiful Cow Bay beach and handy for all the Daintree attractions. The view of the rainforest and Coral Sea is fantastic, just jaw-dropping. We’ll definitely come back!

We loved relaxing in the outdoor bathtub and taking in the surrounding rainforest. The timber hilltop house sits back in the rainforest, with front and side balconies giving 270-degree views of the sea and hills. Inside, there’s a great living room and kitchen, plus cool, airy bedrooms. There are plenty of rainforest bushwalks and other things to do too.
