The gold detecting trip with Pete was a real highlight. We spent 5 or 6 Hours with him, and it was over far too soon. He shared so much skill, history, and knowledge, and made it a fun experience. The whole seven days at Donkey Tales Farm Cottages felt perfect, from arrival to departure. Being around the donkeys in such a peaceful place was the best way to forget the stresses of everyday life. We hung our problems in the tree on the way in and left them there. Marianne and Peter are clearly made for this kind of business. Thanks for the memories, and good luck in the West.

The miniature donkeys were adorable, and getting to pat, scratch, and talk to them was such a pleasure. I loved the peace and quiet in the relaxed bush-style setting, just a few minutes out of Maryborough. It worked perfectly for the weekend conference I was attending, and I'm already planning another trip. Thoroughly recommend it if you're after quiet, relaxing accommodation.

Gold prospecting was a fun outing, and we even had some rewards from it. We also had a great time with Tippy, daisey, Sunshine, queenie, Lucy, blossom, and Solomon. Our host was very friendly. Thanks, team.
