It's a large venue with plenty of seating, games for little ones and two bars, and the prices are good. The food was just alright. I ordered chicken parmigiana and satay chicken pizza. The parmi came with rectangles of ham instead of a slice, was overcooked around the edges and had overpowering tomato. The satay pizza had an odd sweetness. The veggies were underdone and flavourless, just corn, broccoli and cauliflower. Typical country Irish pub.

The pizzas are really tasty, and it's a great spot to spend a weekend. There's a social atmosphere and something for everyone. Lots of the Celtic people around town seem to meet here, which I think is pretty cool, especially since I know a lot of Irish and Scottish people in the area. Five stars, recommend it.

I came here 6 years ago and it was phenomenal, but tried it again today and had a terrible experience. I ordered a 500g rump for me and my mate, but got a thin piece of steak that looked about 150g. When I asked the chef, he said it "shrunk on the grill". The steak was less disappointing than being blatantly lied to our face. Then he sent the poor waitress over to tell us he was a butcher and knew what he was talking about. Look at the picture and tell me if that's 500g. Don't be a grub and lie to your customers...

It's got a great Irish atmosphere and a good selection of beers on tap. Best pub in Emerald. The staff were a little slow bringing our beers, though there were only 2 other customers in the whole pub at 4pm.
