Owner Nick was friendly, and the room was clean, with a high raked ceiling and more space than I expected. The air conditioner was good, and the bed was comfortable, though very soft, which might not suit anyone who prefers a firmer mattress. There’s a kettle, toaster, microwave and bar fridge. I didn’t check whether there was a safe or ironing board. The TV was about 43 inches and adequate, though it could be newer and bigger. It’s a smart TV with Netflix, YouTube and other services. The shower’s pressure and flow are fantastic, but the design makes water splash around, so don’t put down the bath mat. There was some minor water damage visible, though it had been addressed in my room. There’s adequate undercover off-street parking, but it isn’t secure. Restaurants on the main street are an easy walk away. The property sits back from an ordinary CBD street, not a busy main road, so there wasn’t much noise.

Nick at the front desk was especially helpful. He made sure I had what I needed and answered all my questions throughout the stay. The motel was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. Its convenient location made getting around easy, and it was good value for the price. I had a pleasant, hassle-free stay and would recommend it.

We were only there briefly, but the room was spacious and very nice. The appliances were plentiful, well organised and well maintained. At check-in, we had several questions that mattered to us and got quick, useful answers. I’d recommend this motel to anyone staying in Gladstone Central.

The room itself was clean and nicely equipped. But with the western sun pouring in, having the curtains open and the air conditioning off when we arrived made it hard to cool the place down and settle in.

For the price, the room was a really nice surprise, clean, up to date, and roomy enough to get around with a walker. The staff greeted us warmly and were very helpful. It’s a lovely little place to stop, and although there’s a pub across the road, Friday night was quiet.
