Burleigh Beach Tower

The pool was a lovely way to cool down, and we could walk to everything we needed from this spot. We stayed in room 3A, where Manager Lynn and the team looked after us so well. The apartment felt luxurious, with beautiful fittings, and it was immaculately clean. Such a perfect stay from beginning to end. We’ll definitely come back.

We had an enjoyable stay, and the room was easily big enough for the two of us. Getting around was straightforward on foot or by car despite the roadworks. A few areas could have been cleaner: some kitchen benches felt gritty, and there were stray hairs on the bathroom cabinets. We left the room cleaner than we found it.

The garage height was listed to us as 2.2, but it was 1.95, which caused some trouble for our vehicle. The unit itself was tidy and clean, with a great view and a lovely pool. There was air conditioning in the lounge, while the bedrooms had ceiling fans only. The location was great.

The roadworks were very loud for much of the night, and the ocean view we were promised turned out to be only partial. The ensuite had no door or blinds, so light came in at 5 am, and the master bedroom was very hot. The beds in the second bedroom were far better than the master bed. We paid $800 more to upgrade after our last visit, but the room was disappointing and poorly cleaned. There were marks on the benches, kitchen cupboards and walls, the rubbish bin was dirty, and neither the bathrooms nor toilets were clean. Customer service and the location were good, but we didn’t feel we’d received an upgrade at all. Unfortunately, we probably won’t return.
