La Grande Apartments Broadbeach

Afternoon wine and waves on the deck, then sunrise in the morning. We loved our spacious, clean three bedroom apartment, the view, and the beach access. The location is awesome, with an easy walk to Broadbeach Woolies, restaurants, cafes, shops, Sunday markets, and the beach, or you can grab a bike. Pacific fair and Surfers boulevard are right on the doorstep too. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Helen & Jack! 🏖️

The room ventilation was poor, and it was uncomfortably hot to sleep. We understood that a $300 bond would be held, but we caused no physical damage and didn’t smoke in the apartment, as the terms and conditions state. They still refused to return it, keeping $110 for cleaning because we left rubbish bags neatly in a corner. That’s ridiculous. When we tried to discuss it, staff rudely hung up. They said the bond was being withheld because furniture had been moved, but there was no damage to the floors or walls, and they wouldn’t show evidence of the alleged damage. We referred to their own terms and our concerns were ignored. The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I can’t recommend the hotel based on how it was handled.

We’ve just finished a seven day family holiday with four of us at La Grande Apartments in Broadbeach QLD. The location was outstanding, with the beach right across the road, shops and restaurants a five minute walk away, and plenty of playgrounds nearby. Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed here for Groundwater Festival for three years, and the location is great. The apartment, though, has gone downhill since last year and left a lot to be desired. It needed a major clean: there were cockroaches in the bedroom and random things left by previous visitors. When we moved the coffee table, we found biscuits and rubbish underneath, so it clearly hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. Renovation jackhammering was incredibly loud, and management never told us about it. We won’t be back.
