The room had stained couches, a broken bin and a door knob that broke when used. The air conditioning smelled like mold, and the view was horrible. There was no refund service. The cramped car park was a mess too, with a wood saw sticking out of the garage, broken tiles and exposed electric wires. It wasn’t worth the money.

The owner’s welcome was rude, and he was hard to understand. Within two minutes he accused us of planning to throw parties because of our age, then threatened to cancel our booking because he didn’t want us having anyone over, again because of our age. It was a very uncomfortable encounter.

The manager was really nice and even kept our bags after checkout at 10am, since our flight out of GC wasn’t until 9pm. The rooms had everything we needed for a four-to-five-day stay, and the nice pool and 65” TV made it even better. It wasn’t the flashiest place, but it was worth the money. We were there over the weekend with friends and my girlfriend. The location was perfect, a one-minute walk to the beach and five minutes to the bars and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

The property manager was friendly and helpful, and gave us two extra hours before checkout so the kids could play at the beach on our last day. We could also leave the car in the basement until after lunch. We’d made a last-minute booking over the Christmas holiday. The two-bedroom serviced apartment was spacious and had the facilities we needed, especially the Miele washing machine. It’s right in the heart of surfers' paradise, so getting around the city takes about five minutes.

A nice unit with sea views and a great position. The bathroom exhaust fan and washing machine both didn’t work, and the washer door wouldn’t even shut to start it. Still, it was a good experience overall, and I’d use it again for the location and convenience.
