Kelly and David made us feel welcome and even found ice packs and a foot rest when my son twisted his ankle. The rooms are great value and have the little details that make a stay comfortable. The beds in particular were exceptional. It's a cheap and cheerful gem, you can't go wrong staying here.

Booking was easy, and they sent a text with helpful information to get ready and keep us updated. It's described as a low model motel, but staff Kelly and David were really friendly and the hospitality was excellent. I also loved being able to stream my favourite episodes on TV. The shower had strong pressure and heated up quickly. Gariwerd Motel is a short distance from the main town of Grampian, and I'd highly recommend it for a few days in a Grampians motel.

The hosts were so helpful, and being a little outside the town centre meant a much better chance of spotting wildlife. Kangaroos roam around freely, as do cockatoos and emus. It was a wonderful one-night stop, and I'll definitely stay here again if I come back this way.

We arrived at short notice, and the host was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable, and town was close by. We could see the mountain, kangaroos and other wildlife. Highly recommend :)

The room felt cosy in wet, cooler-than-expected weather, and it had all the amenities we needed. It was a little dated but clean, with comfortable beds and a shower with good pressure. Kelly was happy to answer questions and bring extra teabags and milk when we needed them. We'd definitely stay again after our three nights.
