Best Western Hamilton Lakeside

The room was surprisingly spacious, and so was the bathroom, which had been made accessible for people with disabilities. It had all the motel basics and more: large fluffy towels, excellent water pressure, a great shower and sudsy soaps. Staff were very helpful, and they also welcomed my little non-shedding poodle. I do object to the extra cleaning charge for her, since I know plenty of people make a bigger mess. You wouldn’t even know a dog had been here, but oh well. The only other downside was the lack of proper bathroom shelves, so we used the luggage table. All good otherwise.

The service and ownership were delightful, so helpful and friendly. Parking was ample, the location was good and very close to town and the main amenities, about a six-minute drive, and it was great value for the price. The room itself was what you’d expect from a motel: clean sheets, a nice bed and main room, with a dated bathroom.

The staff were very thoughtful. I found the room comfortable, especially with a couch in the main area, and the walk-in shower was excellent.

We had a functional, good-sized two-bedroom place, and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and well appointed, with a terrific shower. The motel is near town, and having the lake across the road was a bonus.
