Beacon Point Ocean View Villas

The views were beautiful, and the lodgings were comfortable. It's quiet and secluded enough to enjoy some peace, while still being well placed for day trips to Apollo Bay or Forrest. The property was well maintained and had all the essentials, and the staff were flexible when I needed to change my dates.

We spent three nights at Beacon Point View Villas at the beginning of February for our first family holiday. The villa was clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The view over the valley and beach was stunning, especially at sunset.

The best part was the location. We had stunning views over Apollo Bay and the National Park, with gorgeous sunsets, and a koala spent most of our stay in the tree by the car park outside our apartment. The apartment was clean and had the basics, though the furnishings were simple and dated. The kitchen was fine for an easy meal or a barbecue on the patio gas grill. We slept comfortably enough, but the bedroom got very warm since the air conditioning is only in the living room. Service was poor, basically nonexistent. Check-in meant calling a number to get the key code, with little explanation of the rural site layout. That wasn't ideal for us coming from the UK with patchy Australian mobile coverage.

Ash was really friendly when I arrived and pointed out the koala hanging around outside my room. I came on my own to escape the Melbourne grind, and the incredible views helped make it a lovely place to stay. It was clean and had what I needed, though a pod coffee machine would've been a bonus, maybe that's my Melbourne entitlement talking 😅. The fireplace was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back.
